An ode to the ancient rivers that carved out vast valleys along the Forest of The Cedars of God, we unveil a creation that captures the nomadic ruins of a bygone era that stand tall on sentient mountain peaks. Introducing the second curated masterpiece from our El Arabiyyah Collection | Lebanon Edition, Qadisha. Meaning “sacred/sacrosanct” in Aramaic, this bewildering pendant embodies the monastic architecture atop the historical landscapes within the Bsharri and Zgharta districts of the Qadisha valley of northern Lebanon.
The design is an engraved topographical contour map of the valley featuring the word “Lebanon” subtly embossed in a custom-designed, modern Arabic calligraphy font mimicking the architectural plan of the Mar Elisha monastery.
