History

Today, we pay homage to the founder of Seza, Mohammed Al-Ali, and to understand the legacy he intends to pave for the atelier.

To those who may not know, Mohammed hails from an architecture background. Having spent his teenage and early adult life studying the Classical and Renaissance eras, his fascination with both epochs' artistic and ornamental intricacies inspired him to reinterpret these languages and styles for the modern world constantly. Architecture was his muse, yet jewellery was never foreign to him.

Mohammed always crafted and sculpted rings for his own pleasure, trialling various design techniques and styles and constantly experimenting with how to perfect the most elegant ring. It was not until he worked for a local jewellery company that his passion shifted. While seemingly at opposite ends of the design spectrum, the paradigm between architecture and jewellery is all too familiar for the founder.

“What architecture is to the human experience is what a ring is to the hand.”

Thus, Mohammed set out to chart his own legacy. His vision was to create a brand built on the foundations of morals, ethics and purpose, to design beautiful statements of art that assist and heal the world, not just take from it.

And so, Seza was born. Join us on this journey and watch how we create that which defies replication.
