“It’s only one cup” - 8 billion people

Being plastic free is not a movement or culture, it is an extremely unyielding necessity to survive and thrive for generations.

We must abolish wastefulness together. The Earth, its flora and fauna don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. What it needs is billions of people doing it imperfectly and trying to alter the status quo.

In short, plastic is made from petroleum and chemicals toxic to human and animal health. It is highly energy-intensive to manufacture, consuming nonrenewable resources and emitting CO2 into our atmosphere. It is extremely difficult to recycle and is usually “down-cycled” into a less useful type and thuus is often sent to the landfill as solid waste.

Seza is paving the way forward in the jewellery industry. This Plastic Free July is a reminder of everything we have achieved so far and how we are shifting the paradigm of what it means to be a brand in any echelon of society.

Simply put, we are certified 100%:

  1. Mine free

  2. Labour free

  3. CAHRA free

  4. Renewable energy operated

  5. Plastic free

  6. Recycled precious metal

Do your part by taking part in Plastic Free July and being conscious of your plastic consumption. Avoid things like:

  1. Single use plastics like grocery bags, cups, straws, cutlery, food storage, bottles, wrapping

  2. Shipping or packgaing content like mailers, bubble wrapping, styrofoam inserts.

  3. Harmful and toxic plastics like PET or PETE [polyethylene terephthalate], HDPE [high-density polyethylene], PVC [polyvinyl chloride], LDPE [low-density polyethylene], PP [polypropylene], PS [polystyrene], PC [polycarbonate], PLA [polylactide].

We have taken enough from Nature, it is time to give back.
